Distances

 

​The nearest picturesque village is Milton Combe which is about 2.5 miles away and has the pub "The who'd have thought it". It's either 6 minutes by car or a lovely 45 minute walk. A little further away is Buckland Monachorum (5 miles) which also has a pub. The River Tavy is about 2 miles away with Lopwell Dam Weir tea shop and pretty views. Roborough village is about 1 mile away and Tesco Extra, next to Roborough, is 1.5 miles away. Dartmoor starts immediately North of Roborough.

 

Plymouth city centre is a 20 minute drive away (approx). There are regular buses into town from the main road which is a 15 minute walk down the country lane.

 

The Devon coastline is approximately 45 minutes away by car. Villages such as Newton Ferrers offer a lovely day trip.
